Current Projects:

 

  • Risk assessment of introducing bovine tuberculosis through imports from regions or countries with a high incidence of bovine TB
  • Comparing serology of three zoonotic diseases in Chad

 

Research interests:

- One Health Surveillance Systems in rural populations in low- and middle-income countries

- Humans and animals in refugee camps; veterinary basic support in refugee camps

- Traditional medicine and integration of traditional and biomedical health systems. Trust-relationships between healers and biomedical staff.

- Antimicrobial use / Antimicrobial resistance and ethical challenges

- Animal ethics / ethics in farm animal husbandry / veterinary ethics
