The Institute is involved in various teaching and training activities in the context of epidemiology, statistics and veterinary public health.
We also offer modul courses in epidemiology and biostatistics to graduate students (University of Bern Graduate Schools) and other interested colleagues, and teach monitoring and surveillance related topics within the veterinary services continued edication moduls (coordinated by the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office).
There are 2 to 4 residents-in-training within the European College of Veterinary Public Health (ECVPH) residency program.
The VPHI seminar provides a open forum for presenting own but also other (external) research projects to a wider audience.
A Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in One Health is currently being developed, with registration opening planned for 2025.
