Veterinarian’s opinion on changing antimicrobial use

Veterinary expert opinion on potential drivers and opportunities for changing antimicrobial usage practices in livestock in Denmark, Portugal and Switzerland

Duration: September 2015 – April 2017

The objective of this project was to analyze the views of these experts on the factors that can influence antimicrobial use and potential interventions to foster more prudent practices. Results were compared between countries (Denmark, Portugal and Switzerland) and livestock sectors (broiler, swine, dairy cattle and veal/fattening calf).
